Made from solid SK5 steel thermally hardened to HRC 57–58 hardness, the blade maintains lasting sharpness and abrasion resistance through heavy seasonal harvesting cycles. One cutting edge is precision machined with continuous micro serrations that bite firmly onto slippery fibrous stems, eliminating material sliding and torn, ragged cuts. An alkaline black anti-rust coating shields the metal from corrosion triggered by field moisture, crop sap and soil exposure. The tightly fitted rivet pivot keeps blade alignment consistent, preventing gap widening or wobble after thousands of repeated cuts for neat, crush-free trimming.

Contoured red plastic handles feature ribbed surface texture to boost grip stability when hands are damp, dirty or coated with plant juices. The slightly upward angled joint layout eases wrist bending during continuous snipping, lowering cumulative hand fatigue during all-day harvesting tasks. An integrated heavy-duty coil spring automatically opens the handles after each squeeze to reduce repeated gripping effort. A small built-in metal storage clasp locks the blades closed for safe transport inside tool bags and prevents accidental edge dulling during storage.
